Found out from Bev that choir members decided to go clubbing at Groove in Downtown Walnut Creek. Got there at 9pm (free) but didn't start dancing until after 10:30. Saw lots of cute guys--one who even looked like 1/2 WM, 1/2 GK. Danced a lot. Wished I could dance more but have to get up early to run errands before the Jinelle's baptism. Had a lot of fun. Hope to do it more often.

Won this week's pool. Only missed one game--picked NYJ instead of BUF.  Psychic? I was working late on Friday and sent an email to JK, JR, PS saying that although I was working late I'd be thinking of the ways I'd be spending my winnings (in addition to saying that I didn't want to think about the Giants because they weren't in the playoffs, about not thinking about my beloved 49ers, but that I'm looking forward to hockey season and the Sharks). Anyways on Saturday after going to the post office, getting my hair done, and watching Elizabethtown (which was unexpectedly good) I changed two picks--MIN to CHI and NYG to DAL. Then Sunday morning, I woke up early (7:30) took a shower,  made 3 changes to my picks (NE to DEN, PIT to JAC then BUF to NYJ), got coffee/newspaper/gas, watched CBS Football preview while browsing the Sunday ads before going to Church. In addition to my usual prayers (about my dad, grandfather, uncles, cousin, etc. family and friends), I prayed that I win most of my games. We got lunch at Wendy's then went to Best Buy. That's when I watched the scores. There were some games that had ended and I had picked the winners. There were some that were at OT and some that had a few minutes left, I was either winning or tied. I waited for all the games to end and noticed that I was 9/9. I watched the DEN/NE game but found out that NYJ lost to BUF. I had to win the DEN game or else I'd be tied with some people. DEN ended up winning. Then I watched the SEA game even though everyone had picked them (and everyone also picked IND) so I was guaranteed the win.

I also watched MNF because I wanted IND to win over STL. When I got home, they were down 7-17. Then they scored 14-17 but STL scored a field goal 14-20 before halftime. IND ended up scoring...a lot...31 more pts while STL score just 8 more points. Final score...STL 28, IND 45.

Yea! I won. Kinda feel bummed that I lost one game. Wish I was perfect.

Jensen Ackles. First noticed him on the first episode of last season's Smallville as Jason Teague, Lana's boyfriend. Hot, hot, hot! Gorgeous. But I stopped watching...working late plus I wasn't into that Lana as a witch storyline. I don't like Jensen being a villain. Didn't know that he was runner-up to Tom Welling to play Clark Kent. I can't picture him as Clark. I think that Tom is the perfect Clark--tall, dark hair, muscular.

Didn't notice him in Dawson's Creek as Jen's boyfriend C.J. Was too caught up in the Dawson/Joey/Pacey storyline. But yeah he was cute then.

I didn't catch him in Dark Angel because he was in the second season. I watched most of the first season but during it's second season I must have watched another show that had the same timeslot.

Didn't catch him Days of Our Lives. Must have been on DOOL after I graduated college and started working. Too bad.

Now he's on Supernatural as Dean Winchester. Totally HOT. I love his character. And him playing Dean shows how much talent he has.

Today I talked to Brad about Fab's production assistant job offer (took Lisa's advice). I was so nervous. Didn't know how to tell him. I told him that I wasn't actively looking for a job and how Fab had told me about the position a couple of months and that their benefits has caused me to think about it more seriously. Decided not to take it. A load off of my shoulders after thinking about it all weekend (even at the baby shower, at Kristin's spa party, and at the Church BBQ). Today I also received the offer letter. Along with various documents including the employee handbook, 401k booklet, W4, and insurance forms. Now I feel bad.

Four baby showers in the past few months. I so want a baby. So when is my turn?
I helped plan the games at Irina's shower last week and went to Mel's baby shower on Saturday. Jealous. Gotta take action. But what?
Fab offered me the production manager assistant job. I'm happy at DP except for that one thing. I wasn't really looking but somehow Marcela told Fab that I'd be interested. Not really. But then I find out that the company pays for health insurance and $65/month for commuter checks. I'll be gettting paid more and I'll get a bonus at the end of the year. I'll have my review at the end of the year and I'll probably get promoted to production manager and get a raise. I'll be losing one week of vacation and won't have ESPP. I don't know how well I'll get along with the other co-workers. A lot to take into consideratin. Gotta make a decision.
