Monday - Got an email from John about BPhim saying that he'll be missing practice and some Sunday masses because of dragonboat racing (which I already knew about). Competition is at Toronto in August. Reminds me of when James and I went to Toronto to watch Miss Saigon, how we fought that night in the motel room, but made up that morning. Got an email from Annette which reminded me of my childhood and had to forward it to family, friends, and co-workers. Productive at work--file pulls, surveys, scheduling. Frustrated with some co-workers (as usual). Saw SBhim on the way to the BART Station. Went to the gym--20 minutes on Stairmaster (2 machines not working), 110 crunches (other machines were cordoned off and some guy was a couple of feet waiting to use it--how annoying), 11 laps (kids playing in the pool--how annoying). Got home and saw most of my irises are blooming. They're so pretty. I'm so proud of them. Watched What About Brian (my new favorite show) instead of Real World. Watched the news and some of David Letterman. Giants win against Diamondbacks Yea!!!

Tuesday - Whim. No SBhim. Toothache in the afternoon so took baby aspirin. Got a ride with Bev & Siah. Siah thinks Starbucks is called Caramel. When Bev dropped me off Siah started crying because he didn't want me to leave. Went to Target to get some Easter stuff for next year. Then I hung out with Bev and Siah. Siah and I played. When I had to leave, he started crying again but told him I'd see him later. Went to Walmart but most of Easter stuff was gone. Went to Liz's to pick up my Starbucks coffee mug and Cake CD. Then rushed home to return Memoirs of a Geisha which I didn't get to watch. Got to Bradley's just a couple of minutes before 10. Whew! Went to Long's and most of the Easter stuff was gone too. Got home and watched Gilmore Girls that I had videotaped. Yea! Christopher went with Lorelai to Lane & Zach's wedding. I want Christopher to end up with Lorelai...not Luke. Watched some of the news and David Letterman. Giants lose to D'backs.

Wednesday - Saw same guy from Monday who looks like James on BART. This time he looks like Tom Cruise. Worked. WM and I chatting about him getting married. Got a toothache again in the afternoon, more baby aspirin. Saw SBhim when getting my afternoon grande javachip frappucino (yeah it was a pretty bad day...the type of day i would play "Bad Day" by Fuel. Got a new boss seems kinda cool. Mom called talked about Patrick, Bernard, Jordan. Cute traffic cop on corner of Post & Kearney. Barely got a seat on the train which was a few minutes late so I could have gone to Powell Street. Got some Easter stuff at Walmart. Watched Amazing Race...Fran & Barry get first place, Yolanda & Ray are still in, and the hippies didn't get eliminated. Watched Bedford Diaries, Milo is so cute. Watched CSI NY and watered my plants. Giants lose to Arizona 3-10.

Thursday - WM and me griping about account team. Toothache again in the afternoon. Worked late--problems with surveys. Choir practice. Target for Easter stuff. Dinner at Fuddruckers. FoodMax for milk and got Cheez&Crackers for Siah. Gas at Chevron. Damn! Gas is over $3. I was hoping to get off early to get gas at Costco. Giants win 9-7 against AR almost losing it in the 8th.

Friday - Worked late. Toothache again so made appointment for Tuesday afternoon with dentist. Went to get gas at Costco. Got to the gym around 9pm. Did 250 crunches, 15 minutes on StairMaster, 13 laps. Didn't get home until around 11pm. Watched Pride and Prejudice. I loved it. My new favorite movie. Now I gotta watch the version with Colin Firth.

Saturday - Woke up around 7am. Went to Navlet's and Yardbirds. Did a little bit of gardening. Got coffee. Went to get pedicure. Showered and got ready for John Paul's baptism. Got to the Church 5 minutes before the ceremony. Went to John's for the party. Good food, karaoke, playing with Maribelle and Jinelle, playing with John Paul, charades. Lots of fun but a bit sad being "alone". Oh well. Didn't get home until around 8:30 (spent over 7 hours at John & Irina's). Got home and watched scenes and bonus material on the Pride & Prejudice DVD.

Sunday - Woke up early. Went to church. Sang at mass. BPhim not there. Bev, Siah and EJ go to church. EJ points out that tires are flat. Got lunch at Fuddruckers. Mavs/Memphis game on. Reminds me that WM is getting married. Got air and noticed that one of the tires is much lower. Went home and did laundry while everyone else went to Bev's to watch DVDs. Liz & EJ help put oil in car. Go to dinner at I Love Teriyaki w/Bev, Manny, Siah, EJ, Liz, Brian, Raquel, and Marie. Returned DVDs. Missed Cold Case and Despearate Housewives but spent time with Siah. Went online. Didn't go to sleep until around midnight.

• Monday - Saw SBhim in the morning. Busy at work because of surveys, reports, files. Didn't get to the gym until around 8:00pm--20 minutes on Stairmaster, 200 crunches, 10 laps.
• Tuesday - Saw SBhim in the morning. Still busy at work--surveys, reports, files.
• Wednesday - Saw SBhim in the morning. Busy but not as busy.
• Thursday - Saw SBhim in the morning, that's four days in a row. Left work around 6:50. Didn't know what to get for dinner. Had to have meat since I can't eat meat on Friday. Ended up driving through Pleasant Hill and Concord. Called Liz who was with Auntie Irma, Bev, Siah and EJ. Met them at Fuddruckers Concord. Had kid's burger and onion rings. Went shopping at WalMart. Went to Auntie Irma's after. Hung out until midnight playing with Siah and talking to Bev.
• Friday - Had the day off but had a lot of things to do so I got up early (6 am) even though I was dead tired. Went to church. Prayed and got a Holy Week schedule--going to church Sat for reconciliation/penance. Then I got coffee in WC to wake up. Went to Target WC, Walgreens Pleasant Hill, Rite-Aid Concord, Rite-Aid Pleasant Hill, and Walgreens Concord to look for Easter candy/toys for the kids. Had lunch with Bev/Siah/Lani @ I Love Teriyaki (sushi) then we went to the Mall to see the Easter Bunny but Lani was sick. Siah was crying because he wanted a bubble tea drink. Then I went to Children's Place WC, Barnes & Noble WC, and Ann Taylor Loft WC. After shopping I went home to rest but Bev called saying they would be leaving soon for Stockton. So I got Siah's basket ready (didn't have wrapper though) and left for Auntie Irma's house. Brought Siah his Easter basket. As soon as he saw it, he kept saying "Thomas, Thomas" so we had to let him open it. He played with Thomas and his new toys for about an hour. I'm so glad that he loved what I got him. Then they left for Stockton. I'll miss him. Then I went home. Was bored and a bit sad so I went to the gym (22 minutes on StairMaster, 250 crunches, 15 laps). A couple of cute guys at the gym. Ate shrimp. Watched Giants/Dodgers game (which started late)--won 2-1.
• Saturday - Set alarm clock for 6:05 but ended up getting up at 7am to do laundry. Went to the laundromat to dry clothes around 9am. Got back home around 10:15 and fell back asleep. Kept waking up but didn't want to get up. Too cold. Didn't feel like doing anything--party, shopping, gardening. Sad. Finally got up around 12:30 talked to Bernard. Maricel's party starts at 3pm. Christina and future godson John Jr will be there so decided to go after confession. Got lunch at Kinder's PH because Concord doesn't run BBQ on weekends (ribeye sandwich), went to Rite-Aid PH to get Easter basket plastic, Costco for gas. Went home to get CDs (for the drive to SF) and nail polish (in case I have time for a pedicure). Went to the church for confession. Felt like crying when Father Olman said to not dwell on the negative things and to think about the positive things. Drove to SF. Traffic on the bridge. Got there around 5:15, 2 hrs 15 minutes late. Guy on corner asking for money. Chris still not there. Ate a lot. Lots of people drinking mostly shots. Took pictures of Megan and Andrea. Cute little girl asking if I brought her Easter bag too, but I didn't. Chris finally arrived. Played with John Jr. and Bobby. Left around 8pm. Went to Liz's to drop off her mail. Watched Giants/Dodgers game--lost 3-1.
• Sunday - Got up late--8am. Showered. Got coffee and paper at Starbucks. Looked through the ads. Wrapped John Paul's basket. Finished getting dressed. Left for church but got there and 9:30 mass was still going on so hang out in the car for a few minutes. Saw Tony so decided to get Easter grab bags to give to kids. Gave Clarissa, Casey, and Angela their grab bags. BPhim practicing with John, Nellie, and Robin. Didn't sing since I didn't practice on Wednesday. A lot of people at church. Good thing I got there early. Liked Father Mike's homily. Got to carry John Paul for a few minutes. His baptism will be next Saturday. I've already got most of his gifts. It's kinda weird being the only ninang. Every once in awhile I catch a glimps of BPhim. At times it seems that he might like me, at times it seems like it doesn't. It's hard to tell. Some guys like Asian girls some don't. I wish I could talk to him like Scott suggests, but it's hard. I'm shy. I haven't flirted with a guy in years...not since high school. So frustrated. I just gotta give up or I'll get my heart broken yet again. But I digress...I gave Jackie, Mile, and Vincent their grab bags. Cecil, Cheryl, Maribelle and Jinelle weren't there so I'll need to give them their baskets later. After church went home. Watched the A's game. Took a nap. Got up and decided to buy some stuff for the garden. Navalet's was closed so I went to Yardbirds. Got an eggplant plant. Then I went to Home Depot and Starbucks. Then to Liz's house for late lunch/early dinner. Wasn't ready so Brian and I went to Yardbirds. Found out that Home Depot bought them. What a shame! I like going to Yardbirds because they have different brands than Home Depot. Plus I like to go to the one by the house. Hung out with her and Brian. Watched Parental Control and some of the Giants/Dodgers game. Found out from Liz that Lowe's is opening in Concord by Arnold Drive and Port Chicago Highway. Cool. Not too far from the house. Then I left and went to Longs to look at vegetable plants and got DVDs at Bradleys. Went home. Watched the rest of the Giants/Dodgers game (Giants end up winning Yea!!), Cold Case (it was sad...guy got executed for a murder he didn't commit and he told the detective to prove him innocent which he did), Despearate Housewives, and What About Brian (which I liked a lot because it was about guy who was in love with his best friend's girlfriend...ended up taping Crossing Jordan).
  

Monday - Saw SBhim when getting afternoon coffee. Gym--22 minutes, 220 crunches, 10 laps. Pros vs. Joes funny. MLB Opening Day. Giants and A's lose. At least the Dodgers lose.
Tuesday - Giants game gets rained out. Will do a double-header later in the year.
Wednesday - Giants win. Ira's pre-wedding
Thursday - Opening Day at AT&T Ballpark. Wish I could have gone. Giants win against Braves. Left work earlier than usual (6:05) because of choir practice even though I still had some work (qc'ing survey, reviewing analysis). Trains held up at Powell because Fremont train taken out of service. Took train backwards to Civic Center. Got a seat. Good thing because by time we reached Montgomery it was standing room only. Got an Orange Dream Machine at Jamba Juice and made it to the church right on time. But Father Mike had a baptism class so we ended up going to Arleen's house to practice. Did some work during choir practice. Got dinner at Fuddruckers.
Friday - Worked late. Pissed off because of surveys and got last minute request for files but Lucy was out because of a car accident. Able to get extension on file. Now we have three files to do on Monday. Got off of work around 9pm. So frustrated. And decided to go to the gym to work off the frustration even though it was really late. Giants winning (listening on radio). Did 20 minutes on the stairmaster (Giants losing by one run watching scores on ESPN), 150 crunches, swam 11 laps. Giants losing by 6 runs--Braves score 8 runs in 7th inninng mostly because of walks bet that Tyler Walker was the pitcher--he sucks). Went to bed early without eating dinner.
Saturday - Woke up early. Showered. Did some gardening. Went to Barnes & Noble to finish my book, do some work (reviewing analysis), and review bills (which I didn't get to do). Went shopping at Costco, met up with Liz to review coupons. Watched the Giants/Atlanta game. Missed the first six innings. They ended up winning. Yea!! Went shopping for gardening stuff and Easter candy. Did laundry. Got home and sent email of comments. Didn't sleep until close to 2am.
Sunday - Woke up around 7am but kept hitting the snooze button. Finally got up around 7:45. Showered. Went to Starbucks for coffee and newspaper. Got home and went through ads. Got to church around 10:35 but mass was still going on. It finally ended around 10:45. Sang at the 11am mass. Didn't end until around 12:15 because of the Passion reading. BPhim wasn't there. Got lunch at BK. Went home to change then went to Chronicle Pavillion with Marie for the Home & Garden show. Only spent an hour there. Got some magazines. Got home and watched the Giants game. Ended up winning in the 9th after Niekro homers then Randy Winn singles in Pedro Feliz. Cut some flowers from the garden. My freesias, daffodils, and narcissus are in bloom. I love the smell of the freesias. Only one of my irises is blooming, but several should start blooming in the next couple of days along with some tulips. I just have to remember to cut a couple tomorrow or Tuesday. Gotta remember to pay Raul, the gardener, on Tuesday. Watched Pros vs. Joes. The second one had Gary Hall Jr. and John Rocker. Liz and I think that Gary Hall Jr. is hot. I remember when we first saw him in the 1996 Olympics. John Rocker is kinda cute too although I remember a couple of years ago when he said something about how asian women are bad drivers. And said something bad about the NYC subway.

Today's was Ira's last day at work before his wedding on Saturday. Lisa and I left around 11am to get a gift card at Williams-Sonoma, a cheesecake at the Cheesecake Factory, and drinks at Walgreens. Got back and about 10 minutes later Waiters on Wheels showed up with the food. During lunch we talked about weddings--rings, photographers, changing last names (amazingly Lisa, Lucy, Jenny, and Jay haven't changed their names...I would), babies, cake, number of guests, after-wedding tricks, etc. Made me wish I'd get married soon. I laughed a lot but at times deep inside I felt like crying.

An uneventful week.

Monday - Saw SBhim in the morning when getting my morning coffee. Had DS scheduling meeting. DK throwing furniture. Then I get PO'd because of surveys. Worked out--22 minutes on Stairmaster, 205 crunches, 6 laps. Got home and watched Gauntlet 2. Timmy wins against Derrick. Unfortunately the Veterans lose.

Tuesday - Got to the PH station at my usual time but the trains were running late because of comuter problems. I was able to catch the 6:57am train (just 15 minutes later than my usual train). Train was empty so I was able to get a seat. By the time the trains got to Lafayette it was standing room only. Got my morning coffee and saw SBhim. Busy at work. Didn't get lunch until around 2:30.

Wednesday - Didn't see SBhim. I guess he was off. Worked late. Good thing because BART had computer problems. Didn't get home until around 10pm.

Thursday - He was off again. Worked late. Missed Smallville. Missed most of CSI. Watched Missing Without a Trace.

Friday - Saw SBhim in the afternoon. Worked late. Got to the gym around 9pm. 22 minutes on Stairmaster. 220 crunches. 7 laps. Then went to Auntie Irma's around 10:30 to spend time with Bev and Siah. Played with Siah. Didn't get home until around midnight.

Saturday - Hair appointment at 10am. Talked to Tania about lovelife--Whim, Scott (funny she also says her ex is looking better and better each day), and a little about BPhim. My hair was darker than what I wanted, but at least it looks healthier. Shopping at Broadway Plaza for Jackie's confirmation gift. Ended up getting a gift certificate for $25. Lunch at Kinder's for a BBQ ribeye sandwich...Yummy.Shopping at Home Depot and Yardbirds Concord. Gas at Costco. Went home to get dressed. Went to Jackie's confirmation at 4:30. Got there with 5 minutes to spare but Church was packed so I sat in the "Baby Room". Went to the reception in the Religious Hall then to Rey & Fatima's. Wasn't planning to go but Manang Fe needed a ride. Barely anyone was there. Hung out with the girls most of the time. Listened to their stories. Reminds me of high school.

Sunday - Alarm clock went off at 7am. Kept hitting snooze. Finally got up at 7:30am (or so I thought). As I was taking shower I realized that it was "Spring Forward". An hour less than what I wanted. Got ready and went out for my morning coffee and Sunday paper. Perused the ads and finished getting ready for church. Not a lot of people at Church. Probably forgot to change their clocks.

Saturday - Ran errands. Did laundry. Went shopping. Did some gardening. Per my previous blog. Watched Michael Buble. Yea!!

Sunday - Got morning coffee and Sunday paper. Choir sang at mass. BPhim. Picked up Auntie Irma, Sam, and EJ at Oakland Airport. Got to their house and found out van battery was dead. Don't know how could it happen when I checked the doors, lights, and radio. Cooked buffalo wings for Father Joseph's party. BPhim not there. Oh well. Played with Maribelle, Janelle, and future Godson John Paul.

Yep. A pretty good week. Michael Buble and band. SBhim. BPhim 2x. And playing with the kids.
